How Are Custom Banners Made? Our large format outdoor digital printers produce stunning custom vinyl banners. Using vibrant outdoor durable solvent inks you get you noticed. What are banners used for? - Banners have 1000's of uses for advertising and marketing. Pound for pound they offer great value for money. Large impact messages often using free space. Popular uses for banners include product launches, Fetes, outdoor events, hotels, special offers, store openings, sales, real estate, birthdays, and weddings
Materials
We use top quality UV stable inks that won't crack peel or fade and have a vibrant finish. The most common material used for our banners is reinforced PVC. PVC banners are also referred to as Vinyl banners. PVC material is available in single sided or double sided versions. The double sided version has a 'blackout' film which is more expensive but prevents the image from the opposite side showing through. A mesh version of PVC is available. The mesh PVC banner material has thousands of small holes that allow the air to pass through more easily. Mesh banners are popular for use on the side of buildings and attaching to scaffolding
Custom Banner Design
Keep it simple. Often with banners you only have seconds to attract passers by and get your marketing message across so make it count. Use the impact of full colour to attract attention but keep the message simple and to the point. Simply send us a disc with your artwork on (see our artwork guide) or our graphic design department can design your banner for you from you text and photos.
Finishing PVC banners
Vinyl advertising banners will usually be finished with a turned edge to increase strength. Pockets can be used to take banner poles for hanging or often eyelets provide the most versatile method of fixing you baner.
Turn around and delivery Our turnaround times are very fast often a banner will be produced in 48 hours. Once we agree a deadline you can rest assured that we will meet it.
Installing and Fittings
How to install you customized banner depends on where you're going to use it.
For permanent usage on buildings fixing systems such as banner track or wall mounted eyelets can be provided. The banners would be produced with eye lets which can be attached to the wall system using elastic bungee which can be individually tensioned to give a smooth finish.
Banner eyelets allow you to fix your banner to 100's of other surfaces. Rope, cable ties of bungee are often used. If you want to hang a banner across a street you need to check local council regulations. For cross street banners we can provide a cable fixing system which make hanging the banners easy and safe. Double sided blackout <strong>vinyl banner</strong> material is often used for cross street advertising banners.
